The Portland Correspondence Cooperative is a monthly gathering of mail, correspondence, and art aficionados. We connect over our shared love of using the postal service for written and artistic expression. Mail Art Swaps - My Art
PDXCC mail art swaps consist of signing up for the swap and creating a piece of art for each person on the list based on the theme. Each month is a different theme and is selected during our gatherings.
Artist Stamp Passport
Our Artist Stamp Passport book consists of small postage-sized artworks created each month and posted into participants’ passport books. Artist stamps generally consist of a “stamp” and a “postmark” to replicate the stamp and postmark used by our postal system. Stamps can be any medium and sometimes it is just the stamp and not the postmark. To learn more about artist stamps visit Wikipedia or see examples from The Portland Stamp Company.
